Our Process

We work in close collaboration with the client to create unique projects that are functional & aesthetically pleasing. We will first analyse the project’s feasibility and explore its full potential. Once the project starts, it will typically follow these stages:

  • Conceptual Approach

    For us, this is a key stage of the project. Through brainstorming sessions and context analysis, we will focus on the ideas and the narrative that will drive the project.

  • Design development

    Then we will develop the design, transforming the initial ideas into a real and buildable project.

  • Detailed Design

    We will coordinate all aspects of the design and detailing, and produce a full package of construction drawings that are clear and precise.

  • Construction

    We will collaborate with builders and project managers during the design implementation, making sure it is according to the designed project and ensuring high level of standards.

  • We are directly involved in all the stages of the project. We offer our support throughout and look after the implementation of our designs.  

    Once the project is built, we revisit it and learn from it, to inform future projects.

  • We believe that dialogue and shared collaboration with a broad team of professionals from different disciplines contribute to a more enriching experience that feeds and brings value to the project.

    Depending on the type, brief, demands and characteristics of the project, we collaborate with other professionals such as scientists, educators, crafters, engineers, lighting designers, sound designers, and builders.

  • We are meticulous and we design with a focus to achieve a sense of good quality as a whole.

    During the development of a project, we investigate ways we can optimize construction systems and the use of materials, making the design more efficient to reduce waste and costs.
